My Specialities

  • Trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD: Helping clients process past experiences and develop resilience through tailored, trauma-informed approaches.

  • Anxiety and Depression: Supporting individuals in managing overwhelming emotions and cultivating healthier thought patterns.

  • Adoption and Foster Care: Offering guidance to adoptive parents, foster families, and individuals navigating the complexities of adoption and fostering.

  • Coping Skills Development: Empowering clients with tools and strategies to handle stress, regulate emotions, and build emotional resilience.

  • Substance Use: Providing support for individuals seeking to address substance use concerns and develop healthier coping mechanisms using Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based approaches.

  • Parenting Support: Assisting parents in strengthening relationships with their children, addressing behavioral challenges, and building effective parenting strategies.

  • Relationship Issues: Helping couples and individuals navigate communication challenges, conflict resolution, and relationship transitions.

  • Life Transitions: Guiding clients through significant life changes, such as career shifts, relocations, or personal milestones.

  • Stress Management: Assisting clients in identifying stressors, improving time management, and practicing self-care to enhance overall well-being.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without judgment—a place where you can explore life's challenges, make sense of difficult experiences, and move toward lasting change.

As a RSW and RP (Qualifying), I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based therapies that are tailored to your unique needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I'm a mother to three wonderful young adult children. I recharge by spending time in nature, tending my gardens, practising yoga, reading, and continuing to learn through professional development. Whether I'm exploring the outdoors, working on a home renovation project, or relaxing with my three cats, these moments help me stay grounded and present—qualities I strive to bring into every counselling session.
